I hope you found this journey into Matrix's APIs as interesting as I did when I first heard of the project. Matrix is definitely something I'll keep playing with for a while, and might have some big news related to some Matrix-related projects I'm working on to share here in the coming months.

I'd also like to apologise regarding my absence on this space for the past few weeks. The last couple of weeks before *immersion{s}* have been a heck of a rush, and I much needed the month of June to recover (not even considering the infection I got in the middle of the month). Now I'm back on tracks, and I'll try to keep up with my ["One post a week"](/one-post-a-week/) challenge during the summer.

Of course, I haven't described all the features pass has. This post only describes the few I personally use, along with some setup instructions, and doesn't really cover the various ways in which one can use it. Now it's yours to play with it! 😉

Also, the length and complexity of the said latest post brought some fatigue with it, which explains this one's lateness. Taking that into account, and given the fact that I'm working really hard on the [Trancendances presents immersion{s}](http://www.immersions.bzh) party in Brest that's taking place in less than two weeks, I don't think I'll be publishing any more post in the next couple of weeks (except maybe a very small one on a couple tools I discovered recently, but that's far from sure).

In order to make these posts quick to make, I've decided to only cover two tools per episode, so that's the end of this first one! I'm not sure about when the next one will get its release, but I've already the tools to talk about in mind.

In my opinion, all that show quite a promising future for the Internet, in which anyone would at some point be able to benefit from amazing services without having to make unfair compromises such as delivering all of its personal data just to send a message to some friends. It does require some work, though, but as members of the French non-profit organisation [Framasoft](https://framasoft.org/) would say, the journey is long, but the path is free.

Regarding the rate these posts go out at, it's likely that I won't be able to carry a weekly schedule forever. This small paragraph isn't in any way the announcement of a new rate, but is rather to make it clear that I might skip a week when I deem it necessary. I'll try to keep it as close to weekly as possible, though, and whatever happens, the best way not to miss any post is to subscribe to the [RSS feed](https://brendan.abolivier.bzh/index.xml) or follow me [on Twitter](https://twitter.com/BrenAbolivier) or [Mastodon](https://mastodon.social/@babolivier) (which I'll try to share more stuff on).
